Alberta Spruce

This tree is a very slow growing cone shaped conifer that does best in Eastern or Northern exposure. It stays small with an average height of 6’ to 8’ and width of about 3’, but can be pruned to maintain any shape or size.

Different from Mugo Pine shrubs, this small conical tree will grow 8’ to 10’ tall and 4’ to 6’ wide. It has a dark green color throughout the year and works well in small areas and near patios.

This tree is has soft dark needles and prefers shade with Eastern or Northern Exposures. It has columnar growth and only reaches approximately 8’ tall. This makes it a great plant for edging and yard barriers.
